The Layla® Mattress has reactive cooling built into the cover, but that's not all. Copper gel-infused memory foam is what really keeps Layla cool as a cucumber. 

Copper Gel is Cooler: Copper Gel beads infused in the memory foam interact with each other under compression. When the gel beads come in contact with each other, they transfer heat rapidly and efficiently. This heat transfer acts as a thermal superhighway to transfer heat away from the body to dissipate throughout the mattress core. 

Thermo Gel Infused Cooling Cover: Thermo-Gel is a food grade cooling agent that is applied to the mattress cover as a finish. The Thermo Gel is body heat activated, meaning the cooling kicks in when your body temperature rises so the cover keeps you cool when you need it, and doesn't over chill when you don't.
