Is Copper in the mattress harmful to my health?

The copper gel-infused memory foam, and all foams used in the Layla Mattress, have been rigorously tested and certified by CertiPUR-US®, a not-for-profit organization. In fact, copper gel memory foam has many health enhancing benefits. 

Our copper gel foam is inspected by CertiPur-US and has been certified: 

✓ Made without ozone depleters

✓ Made without PBDEs, TDCPP, or TCEP (”Tris”) flame retardants

✓ Made without mercury, lead, and other heavy metals

✓ Made without formaldehyde

✓ Made without phthalates regulated by the Consumer Product Safety Commission

✓ Low VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) emissions for indoor air quality (less than 0.5 parts per million)
